"Le Clapas" is the name of the land on which our small farm is located. It is the Occitan word for "stack of stones". In the past the people in this area spoke Occitan. During the working on the land, the farmers pick up the stones to protect their machines. They throw the stones in a corner of the land and so the clapases arise. In our land you can find so many stones that the whole terrain is a clapas on its own. 

Accommodations: The gîte used to be a stable with hayloft and it is situated near the main house. The front door leads to the courtyard, in which we laid out a flower garden and a small pond. As soon as the sun shines it is, even in spring and fall, nice and warm in the courtyard. The chalet is a small detached wooden house. It lays not far from the shady terrace, with its beautiful sight on "Les pays des Cents Vallées".
